Why did God create Hell???

The torment of Hell:
As we all know, every religion on this world believes in the existence of Hell, and it is a tormenting place.
In Mark 9:43-48, the Lord is not being sadistic but depicting the severity of the punishment in Hell.
"...if your hand makes you sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go to hell... And if your foot makes you sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, than having two feet, to be cast into hell... And if your eye makes you sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire- where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched."

The existence of Hell:
Those who are blinded by confusion of worldly things, is unable to seek spiritual truth. Without the bible, we will not be able to wiew the realm with a spiritual mind and from a spiritual perspective, and never find the answers of why did God create Hell. Those who refuse to believe the existence of Hell are afraid to face the truth of life after death-heaven or hell.

3 Compelling factors of why God create Hell:
1) The Lord's holiness and justice: In Isaiah 6:1-6, Isaiah did not realize the magnitude of his personal sin, until he has seen and compare his acts with the Lord's holiness.
2) Relationship betrayal: God loves us so dearly and does not give up His relationship with us, that He sent His only begotten Son to save us from Hell.
1 Timothy 2:5: "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus"
Nobody could understand the depth and degree of Lucifer's wickedness of his acts, who later on became Satan, and has to go to Hell for the punishment of his acts. The act of betrayal of God's trust.
3) Ultimate peace and security: Assurance that there is no rebellion.
Revelations 21:4: " And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

As much as we ask God why He created Hell, He also went all out to save us from Hell by sending His only son to purchase our salvation. In Matthew 25:41, "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." In the first place, Hell was never created for us, thus let's refocus on the much more wonderful place-heaven. Where we can enter through Jesus for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

In Time of Bereavement (II)...

Today Paster Rony touches upon the 4 other stages of bereavement...
5) Guilt

7) Realisation: Philippians 1:21-24
Bereavement with God is important so as to know that we would continue to live for God's plan instead of dying for the dead. Being with Christ is much far better than being with the dead, and we have to live in the flesh for now till the Lord calls us home.
8) Acceptance
Earthly life is very brief and precious, instead of grieving, use it for other living souls.

1Thessalonians 4:13-18
"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. In a time of Bereavement part(I)...

There are 8 stages of grief through which a bereaved person usually experiences. It seeks to guide the grief-stricken to a healthy closure and acceptance so that life can move on meaningfully. This week, Paster Rony's gonna cover the 4 out of 8 stages;

1. Numbness; known as a useful mechanism created by God to protect our body from insanity when the person suffers from a state of shock. This person might faint due to the shocking news he/she receives. For instance the death of a loved one.

2. Aloneness; a person experiences an abyss of loneliness eventhough he is in a crowd. He cries in agony within his heart, and has a tendency of bursting into tears, that is why he prefers to be alone. However, he has to decide whether he wants to cry away from God or cry before God and seek his guidance.

3. Denial; this is the period of time when the person tries to run away from the truth that he/she has lost a loved one.

4. Reaction; how the person reacts depend on the way he/she views the situation. He has the propensity of blaming others, himself and sometimes even God. Hostility, anger and disappointment with God can be observed. However, if the person takes a different perspective, he will know that the almighty God has taken his loved one up to a higher place.

In 2 Samuel 12: 16-23; "... Then his servants said to him, " What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child died, you arose and ate food." So David said, " While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ' Who can tell whether the Lord will be gracious to me, that the child may live?' " But now he is dead; why should I fast? can i bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me."

Is the Bible Relevant in an Age of Science?...

Dr John Harnette is a professor and reseacher on the department of physics in the university of western australia. Despite the fact that he is well-established at his area of profession, physics, he does not neglect the Bible's word for any physics theory. This talk teaches Christians the relevance of the Genesis account of Creation to their lives now. With the advent of geology and the Darwinian theory of evolution, the authority of the Bible, as found in the first 11 chapters of the Bible, has been under attack. It also explains the importance of taking the Word of God at face value and applying it to every aspect of our lives. I must say, it is a great talk!

Anyway, i'm working on one of his books now... Alien invasion.. i took a whole lot of pain to get it! haha... it explains how the existance of aliens of UFOs contridicts the Bible. Hope i'll enjoy it. =D

Conviction and Commitment...

1) There's only one life; no such thing as incarnation. Accept the fact that everyone will face Judgement Day after death, whereby those who believe in the Lord and accept Him will have everlasting life.

How to win your family to Christ...

Today's service was on why we must bring our family to know God. The Lord says that sin is always trying to put a wedge between God and man. And if satan wants to bring down a nation, he'll attack the family unit first, as the family is the foundation of all nations. God has always been for families such as Noah and Abraham. He warned Noah of the flood and asked him to build an ark so as to save the animals and most importantly, his family. Therefore, in order to protect our family from satan's wicked doings, we must bring our family to know our great and almighty God.

The first thing that happened was Joy, Ms model, asking me to choose two swanlakes' postcards. aww.... so sweet and nice of her. Thanks! After that, all of us panicked as we're suppose to share with all the other parents our experiences in Korea, and we hadn't prepare any speech!!! AHH!!!!!.... gotta admit, i thought hard! hahaha... Finally, we all took turns giving a speech, i shared with them about the experience of korean drumming lessons and the day to Lotte world! PHeW! it wasnt as bad as i thought! hahaha... trying to conquer my stage fright!!! hahaha... juz kiddin! Alas! we got to view all the photos taken during the trip. Its cool~ ! spotted a few of our silly pictures! hehehe.. hope to get together more often as a dance company! :P

God's Love...

Today's service was a rather fabulous one. Our church's DramaLight did a wonderful job at depicting a daily-life scene of a girl feeling lost. She was angry with God for not making things right for her and her brother. However, she didn't know that God has always been beside her, listening to her cries. This has reminded us that whenever we're feeling down, never forget that our Heavenly Father has always and will always be by our side. It is easy to give thanks to the Lord whenever something good happens, yet when something doesn't go our way, we think that God doesn't love us anymore. We should always remember that God is in control of everything. He knows what will happen in the end of an event, no matter how bad the situation seems to be. All of us think we're the "good guys" and others are the "bad guys". But God says all have fallen short of the glory of God. Sometimes we cant understand the complexity of this world, we just hav to trust that our Heavenly Father is in control and His hands will lead us.

Matthew 18:3: "We must come to God as a "little child", then we can feel His love and enter the kingdom of heaven."
